This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Movement is great ways to regulate emotions, balancing social emotional growth by allowing children to express their need for whole body movements.

Challenging my preschoolers to balance and focus on their bodies, with the jungle jumparoo, pogo sticks and movement with balls will promote, whole body sensory movement therapy which is a natural way to support appropriate behaviors.

Help promote whole body learning for my special needs students my supporting them in getting the movements and emotional regulation input they will receive from using theses different movement activities. They will also support turn taking, playing together and strengthening their core muscles. Younger children have lots of emotions they do not know how to control. Using intentional movement children learn to manage their emotions in a positive healthy way. Teaching self-control and positive reactions and responses to daily challenges.
