Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with homebound students in PreK and early Elementary grades. I travel from house to bringing the day's school supplies with me.
I love to use picture books to jump-start the day's lessons.
I make kits to go with each book that works on fine motor skills, early literacy skills, math skills, and more. This keeps my entire day's lessons in high interest for my students and provides anchors for their learning.
Your help will help me create more of these well-loved lessons. I would like to end the year with some fresh books as well as put together some learning kits over the summer.
