This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a class to 9 wonderful students with Autism. My students need to have lots of sensory input to be successful in the classroom. It's important for my classroom to have a variety of options for my students to get sensory needs met, one of which is jumping on a trampoline. The one currently in my classroom is starting to fall apart from wear and tear.
Having these new items will allow my students to meet their sensory needs in a way that makes sense for them!
Some of my students really benefit from jumping on a trampoline for a break to get wiggles out, some really enjoy having visually appealing things to look at, and some require frequent snacks throughout the day.
