My Project

I teach the most amazing students! My elementary school students have severe cognitive disabilities and high sensory needs. Meeting these sensory needs helps them to be able to access academic curriculum. They are the most wonderful kids!

My school has a sensory room to provide sensory input for students with disabilities, but it's not complete.

The Jungle Jumparoo will help finish off the sensory room to provide students with the sensory input they need. Many of our special education students students require sensory breaks throughout the day to be able to continue learning.

We do not have any equipment currently that allows for safe jumping in the sensory room, which is one of the sensory needs of my students--jumping up and down. The Jungle Jumparoo will help my students access their academics even better to make them successful in school!
