This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A high-quality pencil sharpener, and a sharpener for colored pencils - these make writing and creative projects possible. Batteries for our "Snap Circuits" electrical circuit kits, so we can make our science studies completely hands-on. Styluses so students can draw illustrations for projects in Canva. Pieces for our Klask games, which students enjoy tremendously during our daily game time.

All these little supplies provide the substructure necessary for a happy learning environment!

As they say, the little things - the commonplace items - mean a lot. It's like the building materials that go into constructing a house - nothing special about nails and boards, but the resulting edifice is a thing of marvel and beauty! These materials are those nails and boards, and the learning that results changes the lives of young people in a permanent and positive way!
