Help me give my students a way to shake their sillies out! I give sensory integration breaks before each table activity, and this TRAMPOLINE will give safe access to climbing on and jumping, which little bodies crave.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
3 year old bodies with autism need sensory therapies, either to alert sleepy body systems or calm and regulate busy buzzy body systems. I have sensory integration therapies embedded throughout my classroom and always provide access to these therapies between each seated table activity. My Red Center trampoline lasted 3 school years (with duct tape!), but its time for a new one! Bodies that have exerted themselves can sit and attend with greater ease. Trampolines also support motor planning, development of a self-protective response, vestibular input, and proprioceptive input. Nothing hits all the marks quite like a trampoline!
