My Project
These items will help me in my classroom tremendously because I will be working with small groups of students on phonics skills. I will be using letter and word cards and the students need to be able to see them in order to learn and complete the work I will be doing with them. The way my table is arranged and the materials I have to use, I have nothing to display the letter or picture cards on. My students are going to need to see these cards and materials to improve their letter, sound, word and reading skills. With me having the easel and magnetic boards, It would be beneficial for the students to see the cards/materials on display I feel like they would struggle to see them on the table.
My goal for this project is that my low level students will progress with the help of these materials.
In order to do this I need to have my materials visual and at eye level to my students. I came into a classroom with barely any furniture or materials.
My students are special because they are all eager to learn but they lack the support at home. With my support, I know they will success and be more confident in their own classrooms to succeed.
