The rolling board has made our lessons so much more flexible — we can easily move it around the room for small-group instruction, math modeling, or interactive writing. The colorful masking tape has been perfect for organizing our board space and creating clear visual boundaries for each subject area. It's also helping my students stay engaged and understand routines more easily during transitions.\r\n\r\nSeveral students immediately started suggesting ways we could use the colors — one wanted to create math zones, another suggested color-coding vocabulary words. They love writing on the new board, and we've even used the tape to mark spaces for our morning meeting and small-group rotations. It made the classroom feel brand new and more organized, which motivated everyone to participate right away.","fullyFundedDate":1752504246544,"projectUrl":"project/making-small-group-instruction-mobile-an/9456249/","projectTitle":"Making Small Group Instruction Mobile and Meaningful!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Abbott","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10075614"},{"teacherId":5241392,"projectId":9309736,"letterContent":"On behalf of our entire math community, thank you for your generous donation that made our Making Math Memories Last T-Shirts project come to life. Your contributions covered the shirts, fabric pens, and even the joyful balloon arch that set the scene for something truly special.\r\nBecause of your support, our students experienced several unforgettable days filled with creativity, laughter, and collaboration. Designing their own shirts became more than just an art project—it became a celebration of learning, friendship, and pride in their mathematical journey. The beautiful t-shirts now serve as cherished keepsakes, each one a wearable memory of the joy and growth they experienced.\r\nThank you for helping create moments that our students will carry with them far beyond the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746836238292,"projectUrl":"project/making-math-memories-last/9309736/","projectTitle":"Making Math Memories Last","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rizzi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5241392_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755704138203","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5241392"},{"teacherId":5241392,"projectId":9082094,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible generosity through Donor's Choose, the Mazda Corporation, and our Anonymous donor. \r\n\r\nWarmth for Winter was an overwhelming success because of your support. More than 50 students were able to receive a hat, pair of gloves, and a scarf, ensuring they stayed warm during the winter months. Many of my students never had these essential items brand new before and were extremely excited. They picked out their favorite colors filling our classroom with joy and laughter. Some even commented that it was like 'Christmas all over again!\" For a time, students insisted on wearing their hats, gloves, and scarves to 'flex' for the rest of the school. (This I only allowed for a day or two but it goes to show how something that seems so small makes such a big impact.) \r\n\r\nAdditionally, your kindness allowed all students to enjoy snacks on demand, filling in the gaps for every child. As I said in my initial letter, many of my students come from homes with food insecurity. Even though the school does provide breakfast and lunch, my students were allowed to 'choose' their snack. They also didn't have to wait until lunch if they were hungry. I have to add that my students were extremely responsible, only taking whatever they needed at the time. Very special indeed.\r\n\r\nFinally, I would like to tell you of the impact your donation made for our students social-emotional wellness. My young ones were given a gift far beyond warmth and a snack. These inner city darling children were given CHOICE; and this choice was priceless. The excitement and gratitude shown by the students for the kindness of strangers was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nThank you again, from the bottom of my heart.","fullyFundedDate":1737938865644,"projectUrl":"project/warmth-for-the-winter/9082094/","projectTitle":"Warmth for the Winter","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rizzi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5241392_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755704138203","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5241392"},{"teacherId":320874,"projectId":8888854,"letterContent":"This has impacted my classroom in many ways. My students are engaged while I'm teaching my lessons, and they do not struggle to see the cards. Both my students and I appreciate the support in getting these items for our room.
