My Project
For many of our students, checking out books from our school library is their opportunity to practice autonomy and personal choice as they grow through their reading journey. This is the time when they can choose what they are interested in reading.
For our Early Reader collection, I want our growing readers to have a wide selection of topics, genres, and subjects to explore and choose from.
For our youngest readers, the Early Reader collection needs to be robust and abundant with choices - popular characters, nonfiction topics like animals, dinosaurs, and biographies, engaging and interesting stories, and series to get our readers hooked.
Our students need a large Early Reader collection to keep them interested and reading throughout their years in the primary grades while they are developing their fluency and early reading skills. Please help us develop our Early Reading collection with this wide range of titles!
