This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in rural areas and many of them come from homes with limited resources. A majority of them are more than one grade level behind due to the challenges they have faced during the pandemic.
Regardless of the adversities they face, my students are resilient and truly deserve the best
My Project
The health and wellbeing of my students is my #1 priority. In order to achieve this, they need a quality physical education. Our school doesn't have a playground but we DO have a big grassy field. Running around is fun, but having real sports gear is what we need for P.E.
My kids will love playing with sports equipment and it will give them a chance to develop their hand-eye coordination.
