My Students

My students are excited to learn a new language but also are hesitant because they feel that it is overwhelming at times. I always encourage my students and let them know that we are in this together.

One of the strategies I use with my students to keep them engaged and enthusiastic are games, many students find that playing a game helps them to better grasp the information.

My students are bright and capable young scholars who need your help to be even more successful in Spanish class!

My Project

Students will be given the opportunity to engage in fun games and practice their vocabulary skills at the same time!

Games like Spot It are a great opportunity for students to practice recognizing images and placing a name to them.

Many of my students are at a variety of levels in their language learning this will allow for them to find common ground. They will be able to learn new vocabulary and test their skills. Flash cards are another amazing resource my students love to use and challenge each other to see who knows all the vocabulary words.

Spot it is a fast pace game that has students look for matches and be the 1st to point it out. They get to challenge each other while using their vocabulary.

My students find games to be the highlight of their week. On Friday we play games to allow them to practice what they did throughout the week. I need more games to allow them to practice all of their skills. Having authentic games helps increase the amount of language they are exposed to.
