Mr. WHITE from Baton Rouge LA is requesting sports & exercise equipment through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students the equipment they need to perform the pull-ups, one of the required cadet challenge exercises.

The Tara High School JROTC Cadet Challenge program needs a pull-up bar.
The Cadet Challenge is the physical fitness test facilitated by the United States Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
It provides an introduction to the necessary behavior required to achieve specific goals regarding cadet's physical fitness.
Each cadet is required to participate in the physical fitness test conducted once a month during the year. Cadets who score 85 percent or better on each event on the test may receive the Physical Fitness Ribbon.
The benefits of JROTC participation for our students are numerous including the development of self-confidence, discipline, respect for authority, citizenship, a good fitness regimen, and leadership skills.
At the end of each semester, JROTC cadet fitness is tested with the Cadet Challenge where cadets participate in 5 events, including a mile run, a shuttle run, pull-ups, curl-ups, and the v-sit reach.
The JROTC Cadet Challenge program needs a pull-up bar and this pull-up bar will be high enough so cadets can hang with their arms fully extended and their feet free of the floor/ ground. Assume the hanging position on the bar using either an overhand grasp (palms facing away from the body) or an underhand grip (palms facing toward the body).
