My Project

Help bring back the joy of music and dance to our T-K through 3rd grade students. Music and dance are so important for the physical and mental health of our children. Unfortunately, my personal JBL 310 speaker broke, which ended our morning tradition of starting the day off with dancing and also ended our recess dance parties.

Music and dance provide many benefits for children.

The list is long: improves coordination; strengthens sensory, physical, and cognitive development; inspires creativity; improves language and literacy; boosts social skills; relieves stress, and it's just plain fun! After a burst of listening to music and dancing, students head to class in a regulated mood and are ready to learn.

My personal JBL 310 Speaker broke, and the students are very disappointed that our dance parties have stopped. To witness so many students of different ages and classes dancing, jumping, laughing, and singing in our quad or out on the playground has been an absolute delight to see. Now that the speaker is broken, it's just not the same. Your help will bring back the joy. Thank you for your consideration.
