My Project

Each and everyday the students in my classroom recite the school pledge. They pledge to be respectful, responsible, and respectful. As they end their pledge they say "and this is our journey to success". Each school year brings a new journey, there are highs, lows, bumps, and of course many celebrations. Each year I realize how each journey for myself, the students, and our school is different. I am fortunate to work with some of the best people and have the opportunity to work together to help each and every one of the students on their journey to success.

These students need to know that they are welcomed here, they belong here and they can achieve whatever they set their mind to.

They need to feel loved, they need someone to believe in them. They need to know these things before they can continue their journey to success. The paths that have been crossed, or haven't yet crossed happen for a reason. I want to make that reason memorable.

Each material that is on my wish list is to create a welcoming, safe, fun, memorable classroom and school year. We will be continuing to celebrate the little wins just as much as the big wins. My goal is to continue to create everlasting core memories for my students. Whiteboard materials are a necessity, we utilize white boards, makers, erasers multiple times a day across the curriculum. Independently the students use the white boards as a tool as they problem solve through their math work. Students spend the majority of their time in school, I want to make our classroom as peaceful and calming as possible.

By donating to my project, you will not only help each student's academic journey, you will ultimately help their journey to success.
