Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will use journals to answer weekly topic questions. They will be able to share their answers and work with each other to create a culture of sharing and support. Our students come from many backgrounds including ACEs and trauma. By working together, they will learn how to support one another and listen to another’s feelings and experiences to grow empathy skills. I will be able to provide journals for multiple grade levels and students will be able to customize the covers for personal and meaningful engagement. Thanks for considering a donation!
