My Project
A great dance education includes multi-modal methods of exploration, expression, and creativity. My fourth and fifth grade dance students are called "majors" and "minors" as their dance education mimics collegiate-level programming! To emphasize rigor and academic engagement with dance, I give my students journals and binders full of resources they can use to grow their brains in dance!
Dance journals will give my students an opportunity to record and reflect on what they are learning, and binders will help them store worksheets, flashcards, and other resources that will help them build and retain their dance vocabulary!
