Help me give my students composition books for journaling to help them improve their writing skills and document events and situations going on in their lives.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Thomas's classroom raised $358
This project is fully funded
My Project
My students need composition books to improve their writing skills and to use as a support for social and emotional learning. I will dedicate ten minutes of class time each day for students to reflect on their current situations, and then write a paragraph in their journals.
My students will benefit from having composition books to use as a journal.
Journaling will help students improve writing skills. Journaling also provides an outlet for students to express any issues they are going through. Journaling inspires creativity, and enhances students' critical thinking skills.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
