it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Jordan High School in North Long Beach has a long history of educating and supporting resilient, resourceful at promise students. Oftentimes, our students come to school seeking support in unconventional ways. For some students that can look like nourishment, for others it can look like comfort or simply feeling seen and heard. The Wellness Center at Jordan High School serves to offer all of that and more. We see 60+ students over the course of the day and the resources and supplies we offer deplete quickly.
With the support of our donors, we can continue to help meet the needs of our dynamic student population so they are prepared to walk into class and the world with confidence.
