Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my school is hosting a College Decision Day to celebrate the graduating senior's achievements and post-secondary pursuits. The seniors will be first-generation college students who have made the commitment to pursue higher education after graduating high school. Many will be the first in their family to attend college and they deserve the opportunity to win some gadgets that will serve them as students.

This event will be more than a celebration; it is an opportunity to recognize them for their hard work despite any obstacles they may face inside and outside school.

The tablets will benefit them as books can be expensive in college and will encourage them to rent textbooks online. Their headphones will be perfect to use for any audio they may need to utilize for academic and personal purposes.
