My Students
Kindergartener's are excited and ready to learn! They need lots of opportunities to move around in order to keep on task.
I teach in a school that many students are struggling to get even their basic needs met!
They struggle on a daily basis with figuring out routines. It is my job to guide them through the beginning steps of school. Any extra time I can give them to connect their prior knowledge is priceless.
My Project
Many students learn through music. Whenever I do use the limited music I have my students are so excited. My students would be overjoyed to have some music that inspires them. If I had an iPod and speakers in my classroom to use I would be able to download more music to go with our math curriculum. I have songs ready that will help them learn counting and other math concepts!

I also find that when students are on task I have less behavior problems in my class. I hope to start my kinders off by enjoying school while giving them the basics to build a math foundation.
