My Students

My students love to play their instruments. Every day they are learning and growing as musicians and music is becoming part of their every day lives.

My students are extremely eager to learn and grow as musicians and instrumentalists.

They are always asking to play all different kinds of music and learn new and more complicated rhythms. Teaching them is a joy because of their love for learning and growth.

My Project

The use of the reeds, sticks, mallets, and tambourine will allow students who can't afford to keep purchasing new reeds for their instrument a way to keep playing when their old one is either worn out or becomes chipped. Percussionists who need a pair of sticks or mallets will be able to use a pair in class when they have either forgotten their own pair or when the pair they have breaks.

Having available reeds and sticks in the classroom will allow learning to continue to take place.

Each day a student doesn't have a fully functioning instrument is a day that they are not learning and growing in their musicianship.
