My Students

My students face challenges that others may take for granted each day. Ninety-five percent of our students are on a free or reduced-price lunch program. Many of our students receive food backpacks to go home with them each week.

Our students are so much fun and have amazing personalities.

They enjoy learning and make our jobs exciting. Each day, they are improving their academic ability. We challenge them every day to be the best they can be. I'm blessed to work with these amazing students every day at our school.

My Project

The materials being requested would offer an amazing opportunity for our students to explore the history of food, basic cooking skills, and creating culinary delights.

This mobile kitchen would create a passion for changing the way our students think about food and provide experiences for them to utilize food they grow from their own school garden.

This interactive culinary cart, from Edible Education, is a way for our students, grades kindergarten through 4th, to experience being in the kitchen. This cart provides a curriculum that would enhance their learning and knowledge, while providing them with life skills to enhance their everyday life and future.
