Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, students are able to earn "Mountain Money" which they then can order from our "Jamazon" store. This is part of my classroom management where students can earn money by being example students, being on task, turning in assignments on time, etc.
It is also important for me to help them learn a little bit about saving and spending money, and what better way than being "paid" and then being able to spend it. In a lower-income school, students will be able to earn a few extra things that they would others wise not be able to.
