This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because they do their best to learn and implement SEL both during sessions/peer groups and in the classroom. They defy the odds when it comes to how their daily environments and a variety of factors could impact their social emotional well-being. Many of my students truly work hard to apply themselves to embody the “jaguar way.” These materials will assist my students by continuing to reinforce the values of SEL and the importance in implementing these skills in their everyday lives.
