My Students

The world outside an elementary school classroom is dynamic and fast-paced. In order to create students who are leaders and mentors, ready to take on the real-world, we need to create a classroom to match.

Our classroom consists of fifth-grade students with ranging backgrounds, culture, religion, and socioeconomic status.

My goal as a teacher is to make sure each of my students has access to the best education and a warm, loving, nurturing environment. I hope it is a place where they are free to make choices and mistakes and grow as students and individuals.

My Project

IXL personalizes student learning. This online comprehensive curriculum will help to reach every learner in our classroom. Students will have access to mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies materials. This added practice, reteaching, and enrichment will help students to refine their knowledge of fifth-grade content as well as allow them to dive deeper into areas of interest and curiosity.

This membership will allow students access to SOL aligned content, continued diagnostics, and personalized guidance.

As a teacher, I will be able to take advantage of the real-time analytics that will allow me to make effective instructional decisions every day.
