it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have used iXL online drills every day for all my high school math courses over the past 9 years. The outcomes are awesome: they can do a lot more than the paper-versioned assignments; they can do them anywhere, anytime, whenever they have the time and access to Wi-Fi; and they can go to the appropriate grade levels according to their real situations with the fundamentals needed to solve the specific problems.
It designs for the age-appropriate, game-like, colorful interface that kids love!
It has analysis tools for teachers to find problems instantly so that teachers can solve them on the spot. It is also great evidence to prove to the parents what their children did and when.
I want to emphasize the newly discovered feature: every drill, and every page, can be displayed in any language that Google Translate offers. This is extremely helpful for today's urban schools where a lot of new immigrants enroll. They speak Creole, Spanish, Portuguese, and many other languages. With the additional language translation tool, my students can easily understand the questions and solve them without the language barrier.
