My Students
My students are fourth graders in a low income, semi-rural area. Our students are very eager and interested in learning. However, we do not have all the necessary technology tools in order to meet the needs of all our evolving digital classrooms. We have been very fortunate to receive many new materials, but we still need more . Every student should have access to all of these learning materials daily.
My Project
Students in my classroom will be learning onsite and virtually through a blended learning model. IXL will allow students to work at their own pace to reach their maximum potential whether they are in the classroom or at home working virtually. IXL will also allow the teacher to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
This school year, learning will be more digital than ever before.
IXL is a great way to reinforce the math and language arts skills that have already been taught in the classroom. IXL allows students to review skills previously taught, get extra practice, and/or be retaught if needed.
I am currently using IXL and the students love it! With this extra technology tool, no matter what learning model the student is participating in, they can achieve success.
