This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an amazing group of individuals with unique needs who are striving to learn life skills, vocational skills, and social skills before they exit from special education at the age of 22 and enter the world of work and life as adults. My students all look at and interact with the world in unique ways. They all have the ability to realize some level of independence, as long as they are supported in the ways that benefit them most. My students love life, strive to achieve more, and are not afraid to work hard to reach their goals.

My Project

This interactive learning system will allow my ault students with unique needs to identify the areas in math where they need to improve. It will help them learn, grow, and expand their understanding of mathematics in individualized and meaningful ways. It will also allow me to access data to better plan and deliver lessons based on my students' needs. My students' are focusing on building functional math skills to help them handle and manage money. This math system has content that each of my students can benefit from. With your my students can become the money math masters that they want be.
