My Project
Our school is a performing arts school so students from many different areas of town audition to get in. This means that they also come from a variety of socio-economic situations. While obviously incredibly talented, these students aren't always able to come to school with the basics needed to be successful. This project would allow me to house basic supplies such as paper and pencils (requested) in a standard location (the cubby containers) for everyone to get what they need each day. I'll supply the materials, they just need to provide the mind. School is tough enough without materials and a comfy place to sit while you work, which is why I am requesting the seating set for students to find an alternative to working at a traditional desk all day. Some like to move to other parts of the room and/or sit on more cushioned chairs.
