This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Nothing is more engaging and accessible then an iPad. This is especially true for students with Special Needs. My students struggle getting thoughts and ideas onto paper, but an iPad finally allows them to learn without the barriers.

We are a multiple disabled Kindergarten to 3rd grade class.

My students have some great difficulties learning, but still work hard and persevere each day! They're truly dedicated to learning and put forth their best efforts each day. I recognize how hard they work, and I think this iPad would show them that others do too!

My Project

We need this iPad because it will help them to demonstrate their thinking to me in an easier format than a pen and paper. It will also allow them to work and study with more ease, as they often have difficulty writing, but can produce well with technology.

This project is so important because showing kids that they can achieve is my ultimate goal.

I want my students to be proud of their hard work, an this iPad will allow them to do so. Technology is a necessity in a special needs classroom, and I hope to provide them with the tools they need to succeed.
