Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

"Itty Bitty Technology” will prepare our students with a visual way to represent math concepts to start school with. Our school population participates in the 100% free lunch program due to the poverty level in our city. The students need access to updated technology that is hands-on. The students are hard workers and strive to accomplish their educational growth with what they have been given.

My Project

Itty Bitty Technology will help prepare students for an advanced world! My students love the library, they love to come to get the latest new book. The students at my school do not have access to technology at home and are in great need of the technology resources that the library provides.

I want to add an this light table to the library collection that connects technology to build learning and problem solving strategies through play.

As the librarian, it is my job to find ways to put updated material in the hands of my students and that is my plan with "Itty Bitty Technology"!
