Hello, my name is Sarah Alldread and I am Resource/Inclusion Teacher for First and Second Grade. Because we have more students than we do rooms in our school, I was placed in an old copier room. (22ftx9ft) This has worked perfectly in the past for my Inclusion office because I did not have to pull students into my office. This year, however, I will be having two resource classes where students will be pulled into my 'tiny' office. I want to make the best of our space and make it as organized and multifunctional as possible.
I want to use the 'Better than Paper: Notebook lined' to cover a metal closet door in my classroom, this way I can use the door for writing on, and also magnetic clips to hang anchor charts we use daily.
I found the awesome sensory stickers to place on the underside of our classroom table, I don't have a lot of space, so I'm going to use one rectangle 'kitchen' table.
You can never have too many highlighters for students to use when blending words, finding digraphs, etc. So I added the highlighters also to help with my students learning. Also any good teacher knows if you can laminate a resource to reuse later, do it! So thats why I'm asking for laminating and velcro stickers to help with interactive/multisensory assessments.
