This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom currently has a couch that has been used up to the max and our kids are in need of replacement that offers comfort and warmth. My students use the couch to learn, to read, use the computer, and to socialize with friends.
A couch has become their safety nook!
Initially, I didn't think my students would use the couch as much as they do, but within the first few weeks of school, everyone was waiting for their turn to use it! My students deserve a couch that serves as their safety nook!
