Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in a preschool special education class and are ready to learn and explore their environment. All of my students live in a low-income community in the Los Angeles area. My student has different types of disabilities ranging from Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Impairment, and Intellectual Disability. All of my students are full of energy and eager to learn every day. They always show up with the most positive attitude and are ready to learn!
My Project
By having a variety of books, I will be able to read to my students during our distance learning through zoom. Many of the book I have chosen for the students have sound effects to help the book come to life. My students will enjoy these types of books because it will help them be engaged during reading time book.
I want my student to be exposed to as much literature as possible, we will be reading the books everyday during our zoom classroom.The student will be love all the new books .
