My students need a new table & chairs to engage in the dramatic area play, creating an atmosphere that allows them to enhance their social-emotional skills.
This is an integrated preschool classroom with students with disabilities and typically developing students, learning and growing together. My students are excited to come to school to play and learn.
My preschool classroom is a place of challenge, discovery and exploration!
Through carefully designed classroom and instruction, students play their way to learning. My classroom develops the whole child, with learning opportunities to enhance students socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. They are gaining an invaluable foundation to become successful lifelong learners.
My Project
My students need a new table and chairs for the dramatic play area. This is a critical play area in the classroom, where students have an opportunity to practice their social skills by assigning roles and pretending to be "Mommy or Daddy," to develop communication skills by practicing speech sounds and language skills, and to problem solve by negotiating with each other to play cooperatively.
Social skills developed in the preschool environment create a foundation for successful learners.
