My Project
I would like to order two different grade levels of TIME for Kids magazine subscriptions so that I can differentiate during guided reading. Students will work in small groups and receive instruction based on their reading levels.
I love using TIME for Kids magazines during guided reading because I am able to easily integrate social studies and language arts.
Students love learning about current events and what is going on in the world around them and then sharing with their families what they have learned.
TIME for Kids magazines are so colorful and engaging. Not only are they reading, but the teacher guide provides questions to ask and extensions after reading.
Also included in this project are books to give the students at the beginning and end of the year to keep their love for reading going! The bookmarks, take home pouches and the reading guide strips will help students keep track of their place while reading and be more successful.
