Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My middle school scholars are very expressive. I want to teach them that their words and expressions can go beyond the paper and their voice can be shared in many ways. Many scholars are not great at writing but love to create in their own unique way. Some of my scholars are not very verbal in their expression of English as it is their second language. This will allow the world to see who they are at a glance.

Having these mugs and mug press will allow me to spark some creative interest in my scholars.

They will be able to share their voice through art. Yes, the world needs voices, but they also need creative minds.

Ms. Miller will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 31.
