It's Time for New Tables!

My students need 8 light-weight tables to hold the keyboards, autoharps, and other larger desk-top instruments we play.

My Students

The children at my school are very excited to come to music class. We are a tiny, close-knit community nestled in the Appalachian Mountains.

Our school is a high-poverty school, and our music budget is very tiny compared to the size of the supply needs.

We have great support from our PTO, parents, and community, but sometimes we just need a little bit of outside financial help to provide the supplies and materials our students need. You could be that "little bit" of help.

My Project

It's time for our classroom to have new tables to hold our larger musical instruments such as keyboards and autoharps. I use these instruments with many grades, and it takes a lot of time to set everything up. The tables we have now are very old, a little rusty, and are extremely heavy. It takes two people to get them out and set them up, so that means I'm having student volunteers help me with the hard work. I would rather be able to either handle them myself or make it easier for student volunteers to set them up in the classroom.
