Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindergarten math skills are essential for students because it gives them the foundation that they will need to be successful mathematicians. The materials in this project will help struggling students to build upon their knowledge.
The bear counters will help students' 1 to 1 correspondence.
Some of my students are still struggling with their counting and cardinality, and I hope these counters will be a fun and effective way for students to practice counting. The dry erase markers and reusable practice workbooks will be used for students to practice their number recognition independently during small group work.
