My Students
My school is located in a small, rural community with multiple students receiving Title I services and free/reduced lunch. My classroom is full of little learners that each have their own uniqueness and challenges. Despite these challenging times, each day they come to school ready to learn in an environment that is steadily moving toward supporting these 21st-century learners.
My Project
By having their own issue of 'Time for Kids', my students would be able to interact with the paper copy supplied to each one of them while following along with the digital copy that comes with the subscription. There are many important activities on the last page of each issue that the children can do to reinforce the skills and information provided. By taking the issue home, families can see and hear about the current issue from my excited Kindergarten students!
They should get the opportunity to see the world beyond their classroom walls.
Everyone receives their own issue to take home and share with their family.
