Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

With the end of the school year in sight, I am already thinking of how I can make my classroom warm and inviting for my new group of first graders! As I past the kindergarten students (some of my future first graders) they are so excited to move on to first grade! At the start of each year it is always exciting for students to see how their teacher decorated and arranged the room!

A new classroom sets the tone for the year, and I want to create an environment for my students that they are excited to come to each day!

With this project I am able to provide colorful, fun and new decorations for the start of next school year! I am hoping that with the new decorations and pops of color the students will look forward to coming to school each day. Not only that I hope they can feel that it's their home away from home and can be themselves and put their best foot forward.
