My Project
Students in our High School come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures all with one commonality. They are learning English and the skills they need to thrive in their lives. A lot of our students work and have responsibilities they must attend to. All this is on top of them being typical high school students navigating life!
My job as their English teacher is to provide them a safe environment where they feel welcomed to learn.
One of the things we added to out class was a coffee and snack station for kids to refuel when they need a little more energy. Your donation will help us restock our station! In addition, by providing things like markers, sharpeners, pencils, tri-fold posters and storage materials, our students will be able to demonstrate their learning in creative ways that highlight their individual gifts and talents!
