Do you remember the excitement you felt as a child when you were able to have something brand new?! My students would love nothing more than to have new computer accessories and books for this year's author study (Author: Robert Munsch)and with your help I would love to make their dreams come true!
I have approximately 20 energetic, enthusiastic, 1st graders who love to learn.
Our school is located in the inner city of one of Florida's largest cities. With many of my students living near, at, or below the poverty line they often receive second hand items (both at home and at school). I would love to be able to give them the opportunity to have NEW things to liven up our classroom. Updating our computer center (with new headphones, mouse pads, etc.) as well as our classroom library (Time-for-Kids subscription and books for one our author study: Robert Munsch)would be a wonderful gift that they would treasure!
My Project
Helping us to freshen up our computer center with new accessories (headphones and mouse pads) will allow the students the ability to get even more in touch with the ever present, ever changing, world of technology we all live in.
Helping us to liven up our our classroom library (through a Time-for-Kids subscription and books for one of this year's author studies - Robert Munsch) will allow my students to have exposure to new and various types of literature.
As an educator, I would love nothing more than to help my students achieve their dreams and help them grow to their fullest potential.
