Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hardworking, motivated, and eager learners who range from grades 3-8. All of my students have been diagnosed with some type of learning or intellectual disability, which can often lead to them struggling when it comes to learning. That does not stop my students though. My students come to class every day ready to face whatever challenge is in front of them, and they do it with a smile on their face. Many of my students also come from low-income families, and many families have been significantly impacted due to COVID-19.
My Project
Hello! Donating to this project will help ensure that all of my students are ready to learn at home this upcoming school year. Remote learning is going to be a challenge for both the teacher and student, so knowing that my students have all the necessary supplies at home will make everything easier. Many of my families have been greatly impacted by COVID-19, and parents are unable to provide basic school supplies for their students this year.
My students are eager, motivated, and hardworking students who are already so excited to get back into learning, even if that means learning from home.
Providing my students with basic necessities such as; pencils, notebooks, markers, scissors, and glue sticks, will greatly impact their ability to be successful while at home. This will allow them to have access to the same materials they would in a classroom, but at home, and will help take some of the pressure off of our parents. Please consider donating, as this will greatly impact how successful my students can be in remote learning.
