This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My STEM students are consistently creating new projects in class. They come to class ready to try new things and make some mistakes along the way. As my students work through the engineering design process and add their creativity, they solve real-world problems.

Our 3D printer allows them to bring these new ideas and projects to life.

We need new filament for it to continue this learning.

Whether we are working on simple beginning ideas such as key chains or 3D pets, or designing therapeutic toys for those with disabilities, my students always surprise me with their creations. Hopefully, this will lead them to great careers in the future that can help change our world, at least a little bit.
