It's Snow Much Fun!

Help me give my students the chance to train and compete in the Special Olympics with snowshoes.

My Project

My students are the most passionate, hardworking, amazing teenagers that I have ever had the pleasure of teaching! With that, my students work harder than others to overcome personal obstacles, participate in daily routines, and make progress comparable to peers their own age.

In our special education classroom, we are committed to providing our students with every opportunity we can for them to work hard and achieve goals!

That means being able to train and compete in Special Olympics!

Our students have shared a desire to get outdoors in the snow and participate in the sport of snowshoeing for the Special Olympics of Maine!

Unfortunately, our equipment was dated and 90% was broken. In order for our students to train and compete this year, we need some new equipment. Our students deserve the best! Please consider supporting them to make every opportunity possible!
