My Students
With 15% of our student population in temporary housing, 40% having disabilities, and 37% learning English as a new language, we are determined to ensure each scholar shines to the brightest of their abilities.
The diversity in our school has created scholars who are caring, fearless, accepting, and eager to learn.
Our motto is "Every child has a point of entry to success!"
Please help our Title I school to find the point of entry to success. The children are our future.
My Project
As we continue to tackle this school year, one thing has become apparent and that is my students are struggling to focus. Their young bodies no longer get to release as much energy as before due to the health and safety guidelines we all must follow while in school. Because of this, they lack the energy and focus needed for learning. This has prompted me to help refuel them by offering a midday snack. Along with students being able to refuel teachers also need some refueling with some coffee and hot chocolate.
Studies show that food is essential as fuel for the body.
As stated by Virginia Wolf, "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."
Your contribution to this project will help me ensure that my students have the energy they need to power through the day with snacks such as chips, crackers, and cookies. Thank you in advance for believing in this project
