Kinder Kids are like sponges!

We are at a rural school. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. My class has a variety of students.

My 5 and 6-year-old Kindergarten students learn so much throughout the school year. My students need healthy snacks in the afternoon.

My Project

My Kindergarten students work hard throughout the busy school day learning to read, write, and do math. At the end of a hard day, we have healthy snacks. Some students eat snacks at school. Others take snacks home. Many of our families are struggling especially during the holidays.

We love healthy snacks!

My students love to snack on pretzels, fruit snacks, and granola bars. We are learning to pick healthy snacks this year. Learning to eat healthy is a gift that a child will have throughout a lifetime. It takes a village to raise a child. Thank you for being a part of our village.
