Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is made up of over 75% English Language Learners and offers many Special Education Classes such as Special Day Classes, PALS, and Autism Classes. Our school has Extended Transitional Kindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First through Fifth Grade.

Our students are welcoming to our guests, always greeting them with a "Good Morning!" We have students with learning disabilities and challenges at home, however they come to school with the mentality that nothing can stop them from reaching their goals.

My Project

Every year our school puts on amazing presentations such as the Winter Program, Halloween Parade, Read Across America, Dance Around the World, our Kinder and 5th Grade Culminations, and various plays. Our students work for weeks on each presentation and our parents look forward to seeing their children put on an amazing show.

Our students and our parents deserve to enjoy presentations that they will cherish and remember for the rest of their lives.

With a new PA system we will no longer have to hope and cross our fingers that the system works and doesn't cut out in the middle of a performance.
