Its Raining Resin!

Help me give my students Materials to create their very own resin art. First up, TUMBLERS!

My Project

My students will be using these resources to make resin epoxy jewelry, cups, and other neat crafts. They will start off by learning how to mix two components together, the resin and hardener, to create a specific chemical reaction that will be set in motion. They will then be taught about different additives such as pigment and dyes to be mixed within the resin.

Once their resin is at the right mix the fun then begins!

They will then through a pouring layered affect create clarity, luminosity and depth within each piece by letting each layer meet its "Cure Time" (chemical transformation) while adding heat/flame to eliminate bubbles and imperfections. This whole process will teach patience, chemistry, technique and craftmanship!
